RS Vision
Thanks to its roomy cockpit, stable and sturdy design, and manageable sailplan, the RS Vision S and her hopped-up big sister, the RS Vision XL, are perfect dinghies for the whole family, but—thanks to their balanced rigs and smart deck layouts—they are still well-suited to solo-sailing adventures. The ideal family day sailing dinghy
This capable, multi-purpose boat is no stranger to club-level racecourses, beach launchings and landings, raft-ups, or learn-to-sail outings with friends and family members. Both RS Visions feature single-line reefing mainsails and furling jibs, should the wind unexpectedly gather pressure, while the RS Vision XL also sports an asymmetrical gennaker with an easy-to-use launch and retrieval system.
Both RS Vision dinghies are designed with a large margin of error, beginning with their virtually indestructible, three-layer rotomolded polyethylene hulls (including a thick foam layer that adds inherent reserve buoyancy), and extending to their capsize-righting lines and optional masthead-floatation system that helps prevent turtling.
